Section 1 - What information about you do we process and how do we get it?
Below is the data we process from you:
Data provided by you to provide the service you have purchased, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank account number and VAT number.
Derived data we obtain when you use our digital services (the website, chat function and email). These include the device you use to visit our sites, the pages you visited in our network, the articles you read, location of reading, clicks on our banners and ads, platform usage data, time of day, topics read and clicks. This data is collected using cookies only with prior consent. This consent is requested the moment you visit (one of) our site(s) and accept the cookies.
Data resulting from your contact history, such as notes of conversations, customer inquiries, complaints and information resulting from introductory conversations. This contact may be at your initiative or ours.
Article 2 - How do we use your information and why?
In order to perform our services, we need your personal data, for example, to prepare a quotation or to carry out your delivery and send you an invoice. In addition, you can reach us through various channels such as phone, mail, email and chat. To make that possible, we also process personal data.
To fulfill legal obligations. This includes, for example, personal data needed to fulfill our tax obligations.

Cargo Company will not sell, rent, share or otherwise make your personal data commercially available to third parties. Cargo Company uses debt collection agencies in the collection of invoices. In the event of default, Cargo Company may assign the claim to such third parties. In that case, the necessary data will be transferred in order to collect the claim.

As part of a global transportation network, we use shared services, many of which are located outside of Europe. To handle the entire logistics chain for you, your data may end up outside Europe.
